The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches Specialty License Plate provides Florida citizens with a unique and personal way to help in the mission of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches! By putting a Star on Your Car, you are joining thousands of other Mobile Ambassadors to help Florida’s needy boys and girls find shelter, guidance and self-confidence.

Easy Steps to “Put a Star on Your Car”

Obtain a Specialty License Plate in person:

1. Go to your local Tax Collector’s Office – https://www.flhsmv.gov/locations/
2. Request to “Put a Star on Your Car: and choose the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches Specialty License Plate. 

Things to remember:

• The specialty license plate issuance fee is your $25.00 donation to the Youth Ranches. 
• Registration and processing fees may vary by county
• Items you will need to bring with you to purchase your license plate:
  1. Registration
  2. Driver’s License
  3. Proof of Insurance

Under F.S. 668.6076, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact us by phone or in writing.

1. Visit your Local Tax Collectors Office. Find a tax collector’s office near you.
2. Visit a Private License Plate Agency.
